The Certified Professional Program is an alternate program for the building permit and inspection process in the following municipalities:

The City of Vancouver
The City of Surrey

The Certified Professional (CP) is delegated the responsibility for ascertaining that the design complies and the construction of the building substantially conforms in all material respects with the applicable building code.

The significant benefits of utilizing the Certified Professional Program include:

·         significant time savings at the start and completion of the project for the processing and obtaining of building permits and occupancy permits

·         a partial refund (up to 50% in the City of Vancouver) of the building permit fee

LMDG’s CP consulting services assist the project team by defining the most efficient means of achieving code compliance and by providing this information properly as the design is being developed.
